Rained last night but tent was nearly dry by morning. Did hear the coyotes a few hours before dawn.

We started the ridge work...rocks were not too bad. Best case is you have the tap dancing feet of Fred Astaire...Worst case you have the feet of Charlie Chaplin doing a drunken sailor dance over the rocks. I am excellent at the Charlie Chaplin dance!

Got into Dunccannon Pennsylvania and shared a pizza with Dan. Then to the Market for a resupply where Dan pulled me off the side of the road so I wouldn't get run over by a tractor trailer truck that cut the corner too close. Ahh almost... Almost got run over again when walking through the crosswalk with the white hand still up on the sign. A man in another truck was laughing hysterically about that. It was then I suspected this was some special "Duncannon Pennsylvania" game for AT hikers. Now that I know we are the sport we'll take better precautions in PA. We've already crossed many roads in Pa .. not nearly as safe here as the previous states.

Tomorrow we head back to the trail to start a 5 day hike before resupply.
