Camping area with stream

No need for rain gear. We left Johnny Sunami behind. Maybe we'll see him again. He did pick our spirits up. Hands-to-mouth a wise and knowledgeable thru hiker whom will work to get back to the trail to relive and relish what the trail gives. We won't see him again but he also will.be missed.

Saw a young girl in her twenties go south sporting a Mohawk. I told her I wanted to get one.

Later saw an old couple with two shnowzers Mack and Jack whooo were wearing their dog packs. They were headed to the Shelter we had left.

Saw several frogs hop into a stream as I walked by.

We made it to the Pine Furnace Grove park where a few years back I took my buddy George Ehlers and our dogs Gracie and Hannah for a walk (I took him to the wrong park over 100 miles off course).

We stopped at the Closed General Store to eat on the outdoor tables and to recharge our phones and to get 2 cherry cokes from the machine. Just before we were leaving a nice lady opened the store to get it ready for opening tomorrow. She said we could buy supplies if we wanted and she even had quarts of ice cream to do the ice cream challenge which they do for Thru hikers. But before I could say yes Dan said Thanks but we are just heading out..

Well the frogs are singing and got to get up for a 29mile hike tomorrow. Should be a nice night in the tent..No rain expected.
