Rock Spring Hut
Slept well and hiked out at 5am. Would have got to Rock spring by 4pm but we I found Dan talking to an Atheist, Socialist, save the planet, college professor from Quebec, who loves Obama, hates Trump, But likes Trumps bombing of Syria and thinks the Texas Bible Belt people are crazy. Then he tells me how he only worked for 29 years and got leave for 6 years as a Canadian government paid college professor and somehow he made a deal to pay into his own government pension for those 6 years he didn't work so he could collect a full pension.
Yes it is great to be a Socialist as a government worker and scam the system.
I'm not sure how the Canadian private sector worker and taxpayer would feel about that. Thank God for Texas! Need I say more.
Met a 64 retired lawyer from Kentucky. He was originally from Montana and remembers breaking the ice on the pond in June so he could go swimming.
