Jim and Molly Denton Shelter

Started hiking at 7:30am. My left ankle that I had bent in Georgia had been getting worse the last three days. Today it was better.

It was a resupply day. Got lucky and got the 3 mile ride into town by a lady whom was giving out Trail Magic at the road into town which the AT crossed.

We ate 27 dollars worth of McD's. Spent $153 at Save A Lot.

As we were leaving the parking lot s tattooed man in his mid 30s in a truck offered to give us a ride to the trail. We took his offer.

Nice day...easy terrain.

Did break a hiking pole by doing a trip and a complete Olympic 10 front flip with a side twist right on my hiking pole.

Staying in the Shelter. With an old man whom looked at us and said "Cats in the Cradle". I said Dan and I are avoiding that.

A 54 year man is here. He's from California and started on Jan 1. He gets off the trail and works and gets back on the trail.
