Weight down 20lbs to 210.
We had a great night and packed our gear for a day in Damascus. Currently finished breakfast at Woodchucks Hostel, showered and are drying our laundry. Then we'll hit Mount Rogers outfitter for new shoes.
Woodchuck is a good hostel owner and takes good care of all his guests. The part we're staying at is the main house. 1st time we will have slept on a real bed since Pete and Susan's house in Georgia before the start of this journey.
Woodchuck's dog is awesome too. Can't tell what mix of breeds it is but he certainly lives a great life.
No TMobile service in this town but we do have a wifi connection.
Damascus is a nice town.
Got my new shoes. The guy looked at my feet and said you need 14 wide. Ahh can't wait to hike out tomorrow. We won't get out till the post office opens. I'll be sending home my coat, boots, my Dartmouth cap, glasses, spare pack strap and some of Dans stuff.
Dan and I will stop at the post office when they open to send home items and do a 20m tomorrow.
