Little Laurel Shelter
Left The Laughing Hearts Hostel at 7.30Am. Left the little town of Hot Springs nestaled between two mountain ridges and The French Broad river running between them.
Had our rain gear on most of the day. But only really needed it when we got to our shelter. Chris showed up an hour latter.
There appears two types of AT Thru hikers. Those that are determined to get there through any kind of weather and cover a certain amount of ground within a time frame. The majority fit in the other type.
Let's hope both types make it.
