Hogback Ridge Shelter

We were hiking through the clouds on the mountain ridges. The ground soaked from all night rain and thunderstorms. Mountain streams we full from the rain and melted snow. The last 3 hours of our 10hour hike was without rain gear with no extra layers of clothing which hasn't happened since going into the smokies.

Met up with Chris and a 70yr old hiker who started at the NC northern border and is working his way south.

Dan and I exhausted. The sun just went down. Good night!
