Hiked with Billy Goat for.maybe the last time. He got a ride to the hostel at the 21 mile mark.
Got to the Shelter and it was overrun by Yale students. Shouldn't they have summer jobs? We tented out. Luckily the forecast for 5pm rains didn't hold.
Connecticut has shown us nice glacier lakes, swamps, birds, toads, trout streams, and lesser elevation mountain with big long well worn rock exposure on the ridges.
One more day in Connecticut.
We are also checking for ticks. Both Dan and I had one on us today.
Weather was cool and nice for hiking.
We've hiked 67 miles in 3 days.
