Cloud Pond Lean to
Had a great breakfast at Shaw's Hostel. Had 3 eggs, 3 bacon, home fries, orange juice, coffee, and all the Maine blueberry pancakes we could eat for $9. They served 20 out of 38 hikers that stayed there.
Got to the trail by 8:30.
Up to fall 96. Fall 93 slammed the whole right side of my head onto the slate ground and bent a pole on my 3rd set of poles. No permanent damage done to either.
Billy Goat was at the Hostel and is with us tonight though he's at the Shelter and we are tented out at the pond with peepers bullfrogs and birds. Quite a racket but I like it.
