IMP Shelter
We hiked through the wildcats. Not as high as the whites. The weather made hiking difficult as well as the terrain. Snowdrifts, rain, hiking in clouds, paths turned into creeks, steep rock faces, cold.
We hiked through the boreal forest mostly with some alpine regions. No pictures taken today.
Falls was a record day 15 now at 67. The worst was an ankle folding on me. I let out a scream thinking of John Knapp's 1973 football game where he planted his foot and broke his ankle. We got to see the game film forward backward and frame by frame. Luckily no damage done.
Hiked the last 2 miles in the dark to the IMP shelter.
